I have a hope in God (a hope that these men themselves accept too) that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. This is the reason I do my best to always have a clear conscience toward God and toward people.

Acts 24:15-16

These are Paul’s words to a Roman official. Paul’s story is unique among the apostles. Once hostile to Christians, he met the risen Christ personally and became the greatest evangelist of them all. He looked forward to the resurrection and the coming kingdom of God. It’s what motivated him to continue his difficult ministry and to live his life with a clear conscience.

Do you live your life with a clear conscience? How can you be rid of the weight of a guilty conscience? There is only one way. You must be forgiven by God. This only happens through Jesus Christ who paid the penalty for our sin at the cross. The forgiveness of God and the lifting of that guilt of sin can happen right now. But it only comes if you trust in Christ alone for forgiveness.

Life boils down to one choice that determines our destiny forever. That we would choose Jesus who is the promised messiah, the restorer of life, raised from the dead.
